Fitzwilliam Ltd. President, Andrew Rogers, opened Gompa, his first gallery, in London's Camden Passage in 1972 - specialising in Tibetan and other Himalayan antiques.
A second gallery, Yantra, soon followed in Amsterdam. These two venues provided the initial introductions which soon enabled a change to private dealing with leading museums and collectors as well as other dealers worldwide. For most of the last twenty two years Andrew has lived in Thailand, where his wife Kanittha operates Acala Gallery in the famous River City Antique Centre. Specialities include the arts of Tibet, Nepal, India, Cambodia, Thailand, Burma and China. All enquiries by email, relating to the antique arts of these areas, will be promptly answered. |
